The Maryland Workforce Exchange connects job seekers to employers by allowing job seekers to upload resumes, and employers to search for qualified candidates. In addition, JobSource hosts regular hiring events, SoMD regional recruitment, job clubs, and the regional Southern Maryland Hiring Event. These are all great opportunities to network and connect with local employers.

Training and education funding
(Funding opportunities are based on eligibility)
If you are eligible for one of our programs (Youth Program, Adults, Seniors, Dislocated Workers), funding may be available for training or education. This is helpful if you would like to acquire new skills or enhance skills you already have. In addition to funding for training/education, some programs offer financial assistance with job-related expenses like gas, work uniforms, tools, and books.
